Recently i with my friends paid a visit to Malacca also known as Malaysia's historical state. We starts our journey from Unisel, bestari jaya at midnight. It can be considered as my last outing with Unisel friends.. it took around 3 hours to reach R & R Air Keruh, Melaka. We spend our night ter then moved to MacD air keruh to have our breakfast at 6am. Our first destination at Malacca was Botanical Garden.. it was a awesome park.. you will fell the jungle inside it.. Suitable place for jogging and exercise. Here we can see truck for buggy car. Rental fee for buggy car RM10 for single ride.
Our next destination was Taman Buaya at Air Keruh. I was quite disappointed with this place because the number of crocodiles was very less and most of it was same species. The ticket price was RM 10 for adult and RM 6 for children. We can see mini Putra jaya, KL Tower, KLCC, and Parliament there. Even the name is Crocodile farm we also have watched birds and other reptiles like peacock, Snakes, parrot, and ducks.
After crocodile farm, we moved forward to Butterfly and Reptile Santuary located at Air Keruh, Melaka. Ticket price was RM 8 for adult and RM 5 for children. Those who love butterfly should pay visit to this place. We can see thousands of butterflies flying around us. Lizards, Amphibians, Crocodiles, Mammals, and Birds are some of attractions at Melaka Butterfly and Reptile Santuary
Done with Butterfly and Reptile sanctuary, we move towards Melacca Town and from there we continued our journey to Afamosa Resort as per plan. It was my 1st visit to Afamosa Resort. We reserved 1 Standard Villa with 3 Bedroom and 1 private pool for us there. The whole villa was fully air-conditioned. The price was RM 450 included tax on non peak days. Refer to Afamosa Resort website for more detail on price.
A'Famosa Resort is a one-stop venue for business and pleasure, it boasts an international championship golf course, the Water World Theme Park, Animal World Safari, Cowboy Town, Resort Hotel, Condotel and Villas.
On our visit, we only got chance to visit Cowboy Town. Here we can face to face with old western style of buildings, antiques, cowboys and cowgirls, red Indians, country songs and stunt shows. Some of the outlets here are restaurants, disco, beer garden, shopping village, bowling alley, children theme park and funfair. Red Indian Show, Carnival and Fireworks and 3 important event at Cowboy Town. We should never miss the 4D theater inside the Cowboy Town. We can get ticket in package to enter 4D theater. For adult it cost around RM 45 for Cowboy Town entrance ticket and 4D theater ticket.
We spend our whole night at Cowboy Town. It was really wonderful environment there and we all have fun as much as possible there. I recommend this place for friends and family outing.
On next day, we check out villa around 12PM and moved to our next destination Kota A Famosa. According to wikipedia it is among the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia. Kota A Famosa very popular part in our historic studies. All Malaysians at least should visit this place for once. He we can find plenty type of handmade craft. We bought few key chain there.
The most sad thing on our trip was the earthquake in Aceh on 11th April. I was at Malacca Jonker Street when get to know about this news. All were kind of panic and we were very close to sea that moment. So, we canceled our plan to River Cruise on that day evening. Next what??? Scad of Tsunami.. So run away to KL.. Bye Byee Malacca...
